Legally Assisted Mediation
and collaborative law

Engaging the services of a mediator and lawyer is becoming a popular and cost-effective way to reach agreements quickly. It gives you the confidence that you have made informed decisions, and allows you to keep control of the outcomes. Both parties can have legal representation or just one party, if the other party agrees.

A Good Option When?

How Does the Process Work?

Legally assisted mediation can take place over a day or multiple short sessions can be arranged.  The goal is to reach workable agreements that are cost effective for each party.

All parties sign an agreement to participate, acknowledging that they are aware of their roles within the negotiations and the process.

As mediators, we are responsible for the process and direction taken. We work with you, the other party and your legal advisors to determine the best way to move forward. Our role is to facilitate the process and remain impartial and neutral to the outcomes.

The role of the lawyers is to provide support and advice to you in private sessions throughout the negotiations. This allows you to have a high level of control over the outcomes, whilst seeking expert advice privately.

Documentation is drafted outlining the agreements and clients can elect to have their lawyers execute the necessary documentation based on their needs and budget.
