What is
Family dispute resolution?

Family Dispute Resolution, is mediation that deals specifically with matters relating to children, property and finances. It is where you and your ex-partner, carers and others can work together to resolve disputes.

Short and long term agreements can be formulated and documentation provided for you and the Courts.

All our Family Dispute Resolution Practitioners are authorised by the Attorney Generals Department, and work under the Family Law Act 1975.

We issue Section 60I Certificates which are required if your matter needs to go to court (some exceptions apply).

How can we
support you?

Seeking the support of a Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner (FDRP) helps you:

If you have an existing Parenting Order and your circumstances have changed or your child/ren’s needs have also changed, we not only write new agreements, but can help you negotiate changes to existing court orders and agreements.
